My father, Angel Luis Lopez, owned a textile company in the 1980s. He was born with a baseball and a bat in his hand, and he passed that passion on to his children. When I was very young, my father was the coach of my baseball team. He also sponsored the team, which was called A Step Ahead. We played in Glades and Tamiami. Sadly, my father passed away in 2001. I’ve been in the roofing industry since 2008, and recently, I decided to open my own roofing company. There was no better name than “A Step Ahead Roofing, Inc.” Can you think of a better one?
